The SF EMBASSY supports over 150 ambassadors during their diplomatic mission to Austin during SXSW 2011. In addition to providing ambassadors a home away from home, outreach efforts include brunches, happy hours, meetups, spontaneous shows, dance parties and more. San Francisco residents travelling to Austin are advised to stay in close contact with SF EMBASSY for the duration of their visit.

SF EMBASSY ambassadors come from dozens of the best companies, startups, non-profits, and creative agencies in San Francisco and the Bay Area, representing Apple, Asana, Bloom, flickr, Foodspotting, Formspring, Google, Lanyrd, Microsoft, Rdio, SonicLiving, Square, Ticketfly, Twitter and many more. We assemble for two higher purposes: to find ways to make the web more useful and fun; and to rock the hell out of SXSW.
